Ÿ	Wash-away Basting Thread

Ÿ	Stabilizer

Ÿ	White wash-away fabric marker

Ÿ	Colored tee shirt that goes well with black

Ÿ	30 or 40 weight thread to match or coordinate with the tee shirt

Ÿ	Black sewing thread.

Ÿ	Instructions

1.	Fold the linen right sides together and draw a half circle, half rectangle or double half circles as shown onto the linen with a white fabric marker.

2.	Measure 4-5 inches up from the design you drew and mark a straight line even with the outside of the design and parallel to the fold. This is for the shoulder.

3.	Using wash-away basting thread in the bobbin and regular thread on top, sew along the outside template line.
