If you only have a 4x4 hoop, print templates for smaller lines and shamrock center so you can combine the design by re-hooping.
9
Place your template on the towel, centering it in the towel band area and from side to side. Tape it in place in the band area using double sided tape.
10
Spray the center of the tear-away stabilizer with the temporary spray adhesive.
11
Hoop the tear-away stabilizer.
12
Center the towel in the hoop sticking it to the adhesive.
13
Place the hoop into your embroidery machine and adjust the settings if needed to center the design using the template as a guide.
14
Remove the template.
15
Lightly spray the iron-away stabilizer with temporary spray adhesive and carefully place it over the towel sticking it down a bit. This stabilizer is see through.
16
If you have a baste command on your embroidery machine, baste everything together.
17
Embroider your design.
18
Embroider one additional line on each side of the embroidery using templates to match everything up. The lines may not go all the way to the edge of the towel. This is okay since towels are always folded anyway.
19
Remove the design from the hoop.
20
Clip your threads.
21
Tear away the stabilizer from the back.
22
Tear away as much of the iron-away stabilizer as you can.
23
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the heat setting on your iron.
24
Iron away the excess stabilizer from the design area.
