Embroidered Towel Bands
Towels are probably one of the most popular gifts we embroiders give. What’s not to love about a towel? They’re quick and they’re easy, yet the recipient is always grateful. They usually become family heirlooms because no-one ever uses them!

The one thing we don’t like about the towels is the towel bands – they usually aren’t very attractive. Here are directions for a St. Patrick’s towel, but you can make them for any occasion by just changing the colors and design.
1.
Load two sets of “lines3” into your embroidery software set for a 5 x 7 inch hoop.
2.
Match them in the center
3.
Load the shamrock design and center it over the lines.
4.
Combine the designs.
5.
If desired, use your editing software to remove the lines from behind the shamrock.
6.
Resort the colors.
7.
Print a template for the design.
