1.
Cut the fabric into two pieces one longer than the other. One side should be about 10 inches longer than the other. You can change this length to make if longer or shorter if you wish, just keep it uneven. This is so the joining seam doesn’t show when you fold the scarf in half to wear it.
2.
Sew the two pieces together using a French seam.
3.
Press the French seam to one side and stitch it into place.
4.
The scarf should be somewhere between 60 and 75 inches. Some of it will be cut off,

Instructions
6.
Hoop the stabilizer and scarf fabric making sure the fabric is centered from side to side and as close to the bottom as possible. If your fabric is a sweater knit like one of the samples, spray the stabilizer with the spray adhesive and hoop only the stabilizer. Lay the fabric on top of the stabilizer and press it down to adhere it.
7.
Stitch the first color. When the embroidery machine stops for the color change, remove the hoop from the machine, but do not remove the fabric from the hoop.
