Directions
1.
Fold the front piece in half and finger press.
2.
Thread the machine for twin needle sewing. Run 3 parallel rows of pin tucks down the center of the fabric starting with the center pintuck.  Use the pin tuck foot as a guide for spacing the tucks close together or use the point of the presser foot as a guide.. Do not starch or stabilize the fabric before sewing.
3.
Sew a group of three pintucks on each side of the piece 4 ½ inches from each side and parallel to the pin tucks sewn in step 2.
4.
Using a tiny zigzag stitch, sew the lace between the rows of pin tucks. Use the photo as a placement guide.
5.
Sew the colored strips onto 1 long strip.
6.
Fold the strip over the cording and sew a  seam close to the cording using a zipper foot or piping foot.
7.
Sew the strip to the pillow front, raw edges together.
8.
Press under a 1 inch hem on one side of each of the back pieces.
9.
Finish the raw edges of the hem with a zigzag stitch.
10.
On one side of the hemmed piece, sew three button holes.
11.
Sew three buttons on the other side.
12.
Button up the back piece.
13.
Place the back piece right sides together over the front piece.
14.
Sew all the way around the pillow using a ½ inch seam allowance.
