Pull threads to and cut into two pieces 11 x 21 for the back |

Cut the lace into two pieces |
1.

Fold the front piece in half and finger press.
|
2.

Thread the machine for twin needle sewing. Run 3 parallel rows of pin tucks down the center of the fabric starting with the center pintuck. Use the pin tuck foot as a guide for spacing the tucks close together or use the point of the presser foot as a guide.. Do not starch or stabilize the fabric before sewing.

Sew a group of three pintucks on each side of the piece 4 ½ inches from each side and parallel to the pin tucks sewn in step 2.

Using a tiny zigzag stitch, sew the lace between the rows of pin tucks. Use the photo as a placement guide.

|
Sew the colored strips onto 1 long strip.
|
6.
|
Fold the strip over the cording and sew a seam close to the cording using a zipper foot or piping foot.
|
7.
|
Sew the strip to the pillow front, raw edges together. |
8.
|
Press under a 1 inch hem on one side of each of the back pieces.
|
9.
|
Finish the raw edges of the hem with a zigzag stitch.
|
10.
|
On one side of the hemmed piece, sew three button holes.
|
11.
|
Sew three buttons on the other side.
|
12.
|
Button up the back piece.
|
13.
|
Place the back piece right sides together over the front piece.
|
14.
|
Sew all the way around the pillow using a ½ inch seam allowance.
|
15.
|
Unbutton the back and turn the pillow cover inside out.
|
16.
|
Stuff the piece with a purchased pillow center.
