From the linen, cut two pieces 4 1/3 x 7 inches for the cell phone case body and 4 ½ x 4 for the cell phone flap and 1 piece 2 ½ x 22 inch piece for the strap.

From the lining, cut 2 pieces 7 x 10 inch pieces for the pockets.
"
Cut the interfacing the size of the 35 x 4 ½ in piece.
"
Cut the lace into a 5 inch piece and a 15 inch piece

Note: When cutting linen, it is best to pull a thread and cut along the thread line.
Instructions
1.
Turn and press ¼ inch on all 4 sides for the 7 x 10 inch inner pockets. On one side press another ½ hem.
2.
Sew the hem created in step 1 with a straight stitch.
3.
Center the inner pockets on each lining piece .Sew Velcro® on the top center of the opening and on the lining piece. Attach the pocket to the Velcro,
4.
Sew down both sides and across the bottom with a straight stitch creating the pocket.
5.
Sew the two 4 ½  x 7 inch pieces for the cell phone case all the way around with a ¼ inch seam. Leave a small opening to turn.
6.
Sew the cell phone flap with a ¼ inch seam on three sides.
7.
Clip the corners and turn the cell phone pieces right side out and press.
8.
Sew the 5 inch piece of  lace to the bottom front of the cell phone case using a small zigzag stitch and the hot pink thread. You only need to sew the top.
9.
Sew ½ of a 1 inch Velcro® piece to the center top of the flap (the side opposite of the raw edge) and to the above the lace on the case piece.
10.
Place the cell phone flap on the lower left side of the linen back. The raw edge should be facing the bottom of the bag and the Velcro® piece should be facing you.
11.
Sew a straight seam 2 inches and ½ inch above the raw edge. Then zigzag the raw edge in place.
12.
Place the cell phone case so it covers 2 inches of the flap.
13.
Stitch the cell phone case on three sides, leaving an opening where the flap is. Tuck the lace under the sides as you sew.
