·	Fat qarter of handkerchief linen in white

·	1 ¾  Yards 1 inch 100 percent Cotton French Lace in white

·	60 weight cotton thread in white

·	Size 75/11 Universal needle

·	Size 100/16 Top Stitching needle

·	Glass head or other pins without plastic heads

·	Design “Mother2” from Celebrate Spring by Sew Timeless

·	40 weight embroidery thread in pink, green, blue and brown (or alternate colors you choose)

·	Wash-away fabric marker

·	Temporary spray adhesive

·	Lightweight tear-away stabilizer

·	Double sided tape

"	Cut a piece of linen 18 x 18 inches

"	Pull threads in a 14 inch square leaving 2 inches of fabric on all 4 sides.

"	Measure the inside 14 inches as the fabric may not be exactly 18 inches.

"	Leaving the extra fabric on the sides aids in hooping. - after you embroider the piece you'll cut it to 14 x 14 inches

"	Cut the lace into 4 equal pieces.
