Cutting
1.
Cut the linen to 18 x 21 inches. You’ll be adding 5 inches of lace to the 21 inch side.
2.
Note: If you have more fabric, towels may be cut anywhere from 18-22 inches wide and 27-32 inches long.
3.
Cut the batiste into five 2 by 5½ inch pieces.
4.
Cut the lace into four 5½ inch pieces.

Embroidery
Embroider the monogram centered 1-2 inches above the towel band. Use the stabilizer. If you do not have an embroidery machine, you may embroider a monogram by hand or add an applique to the center front of the piece.

Instructions
1.
Cut the bottom of the towel away leaving so there is no longer a towel band.
1.
On each white batiste pieces, sew a decorative stitch down the middle lengthwise.
2.
Attach the entredeux to the lace using the entredeux-to-lace technique.
3.
Attach the lace to the batiste on each side using entredeux-to-fabric technique.
4.
Square up this piece if necessary.
5.
On the bottom edge of the lace piece, attach the edging lace using lace-to-fabric technique.
6.
On the bottom  edge of the towel, sew the entredeux using entredeux-to-fabric technique.
7.
Sew the lace piece to the towel using the entredeux-to-fabric technique.
